CALLIGRAPHY

Letters from Santa

Since 2021, I have been working with Santa ;) to send letters to children all around the world. Each letter is hand-written in gold or black calligraphy and comes in a hand lettered envelope with vintage stamps and a snowflake wax seal.

Here are a set of pastel floral wedding invites I designed for a Spring 2022 wedding.


I hand-lettered these envelopes using Dr. Ph. Martin’s Iridescent Gold Ink and sealed each one with a rose gold beeswax stamp.

Wedding Stationery

These beautiful wedding vows were lettered on archival paper with gold ink for a Fall wedding in 2024.

Pointed Pen Calligraphy

Here are a set of ivory and copper envelopes. These are a beautiful set for weddings, renewals, or other celebrations.


I lettered these envelopes using Dr. Ph. Martin’s Iridescent Copper and Bleed Proof White and sealed each one with a beeswax stamp.

Kids D&D Campaign

I made these illustrations for a kids and adults intro Dungeons and Dragons game. The kids and adults playing in the campaign gave artistic direction, and I created their characters and corresponding campaign for them to play. It was a hit!

Custom Maps

This is a series of custom maps I have painted and drawn to support fantasy stories, add to a junk journal, or commemorate a couple’s anniversary tour around the world!

For my senior thesis, I designed, illustrated, and developed a 52 card deck of conversation cards for children. The target audience was mentors of children between 4 and 16, to engage with children and build those connections before they hit the age of onset for anxiety, depressive, and behavioral disorders. The cards are designed to initiate conversations with a trustworthy adult, so children can feel safe discussing their emotions. The cards help build resilience, emotional maturity, and strong relationships with role models.

The Bedtime Resistance

I made these illustrations for The Bedtime Resistance, a labyrinth-building, fast-paced evasion game in Ludum Dare 50. Ludum Dare is an open-sourced game building and design event over a single weekend.

Halloween illustrations

This set of three recipe cards and tea towels to bring artistic enjoyment to the kitchen. The recipe cards can be kept in a recipe box or are large enough to display. This hand-illustrated products are 6 by 8 inches and printed on thick card stock paper. The front of the card shows a scattered collection of all the ingredients in each recipe.

Tickets to Mental Health

The goal of the Mental Health collection is to offer three tickets to people who may need to give themselves permission to take care of themselves. This collection serves as an artistic reminder that people can take up space, have their feelings validated, and make them for their mental health. The dimensions and design of these mental health tickets are based off of vintage train ticket designs.

These tickets are designed using a soft color palette to give the viewer something calming to look at or hold in their hand if they are feeling overwhelmed. The card designs also have hole-punched letters for the customer to feel if they are feeling overstimulated.

CREATIVE BRIEF

Analog Travel Journaling

These travel journals are just a brief look at the analog journaling and collaging that I do. As and artist and a story-teller, I enjoy using journals as a keepsake for trips and experiences. Each spread uses colors that represent the day or the area we are traveling and are decorated with collaged materials from the trip.

This is a Wedding Invitation Suite for a casual, elegant spring wedding.

BRAND IDENTITIES

When Lyon Road Art started their art class academy in 2024, they needed a new brand and logo. This new academy was associated with Lyon Road Art, but a distinct and separate business. To balance these two, I settled on a logo that mentions Lyon Road Art, but in a more playful, soft font, and a variation on Lyon Road Art’s clay red with the vibrant orange in the new Academy branding.

Tetris Moving

This is a logo I designed for Tetris Moving, a moving company started in Omaha Nebraska. The business commissioned this logo for use on merchandise, truck branding, and social media marketing. This project was completed in January of 2022.

Meaningful Macros

This is a logo I designed for Meaningful Macros, a high protein meal prep and fitness blog and brand by Bryan Botkin. This project was completed June of 2025.

This is a logo I designed for Zac and Paul of Sole Daddies, a small business that up-cycles and resells high-quality shoes. This project was completed in September of 2021.

React Ensemble

React Ensemble is a library for building animations in React designed and built by Joe Cowman in May 2020. It is designed to help with longer animations that need to have precise timing or a lot of moving parts. I established a brand identity, logo, and color scheme for React Ensemble in the Fall of 2020.

BRAND GUIDELINES

The two font used if React Ensemble are Allumi, designed by Jean François Porchez with Typofonderie and Open Sans, designed by Steve Matteson with Google Fonts. Allumi is a dynamic humanistic font with letterforms that are neither perfectly round or square, which adds to the animated mission of React Ensemble. Paired with Allumi is Open Sans, because it is designed specifically for clarity and readability in web projects and precision and clarity aligns with the goals of React Ensemble.

Jon Summers Art

In 2020, Omaha Artist, Jon Summers, wanted to turn his studio practice into an online shop and establish a digital portfolio. I photographed his paintings and edited and stitched together the high quality files so he could sell his prints in a variety of sizes. I also created and maintain his website, online store, and artist contact pages. I contributed to social media pages, SEO, and provided other tips to gain a larger audience for his shop.
